What to expect

We understand that coming to a church meeting for the first time can be a daunting experience, so we hope this information will help put you at ease.

  • Please wear whatever you feel comfortable in.

  • When you arrive at the meeting, you will be greeted at the entrance, given a bulletin, and shown to a seat. Bibles are available.

  • Our meetings usually go for about 1 hour and 15 minutes. They involve having the Bible read and explained in a talk, praying, singing songs, and weekly announcements. There is an opportunity for the regulars to make financial contributions towards the activities of our church but there is no obligation for visitors to contribute.

  • There is a children's program during the school terms that your children are welcome to join. There is also a crèche and a great area for parents with young children should you require it.
  • After the meeting, everyone is welcome to stay to chat over refreshments.

  • Our meetings are regularly followed by shared meals (lunches for the 10:00 am meeting on the last Sunday of the month, fortnightly dinners for the 6:00 pm meeting). These are great opportunities to get to know one another better.
